We have used Lynx to go from TTC to Sea World a few times and thought it was great! My DD and I will be doing a short trip to WDW and I'm thinking about taking Lynx from MCO to TTC.

Lynx has provided directions which includes a transfer at the Downtown Orlando station. Is anyone familiar with this area? Is it safe? Would you think a single mom and DD12 will be okay doing this or should I just dish out the extra $$ for other transportation?

Thanks for any information.

its not a dangerous place to be, it is in downtown orlando. they are closing the station for many reasons in NOV, when they will open the LYNX Central station. that station will take care of any and all problems. I'm assuming they have you taking the number 11 from the airport to the downtown bus station? then trasfering to the number 50. If so the busses will normally park in the same lane, the 11 parks in lane A the 50 parks in lane D. Just the opposite end of the lane.

If they have you take the 51 to the downtown bus station it will pull into lane 3 bay N. to get to the number 50 from there you will have to walk over to lane 1, however the busses are almost straight across from each other. If you have a question ask one of the bus drivers or at the customer service window. also talk to the driver as you board at the airport let them know what you are trying to do they can help you out quite a bit.
