DH and I are going to WDW for 10 nights and as such are trying to save $$$ whereever possible with regards to transportation. We really would prefer not to rent a car but we need to get from the airport to WDw and back and also need to get to US for one day. Is this possible to do without renting a car or using a taxi/sedan service? I have been on the Lynx website and it appears that there may be some pick-up stations within WDW - is this true and how much for bus transportation - any help would be much appreciated!!

Lynx buses only run from the Transportation & Ticket Center. To get to the TTC, you have to go to a theme park, and transfer.

To get from the airport to the TTC, it takes around 2 hours and requires one transfer in addition to the Disney transfers.

To get from TTC to USF/IOA requires two transfers, in addition to the Disney transfers.

Using Lynx can be cheap ($1.25, transfers included, exact change required), but it can also be time consuming. I guess it's just a matter of how valueable your time is.

Thanks - so does it make more sense to get a sedan service to pick us up and return us to the airport and go from our hotel to the TTC and take the Lynx bus to US?

For two people, the Mears Shuttle would save you money versus a towncar, however a taxi or a towncar service would be the most efficient, timewise.
