Has anyone used the Lynx bus from the TTC to Seaworld? I think it's route 50.

Was it easy?

I've done it the other way round - ie from Sea World to TTC. Yes, it was easy enough. Just hopped on, paid my money, sat down and let the driver take me to Disney :teeth:

It's very easy to use and it is a fairly quick journey as hardly any bus stops between Disney and Sea World. Well worth it for only $1.50 :flower:

It is extremely easy. I think the bus leaves the TTC at 18 minutes past the hour and 48 minutes to the hour.

I find it easier travelling on the Lynx buses than the I - trolley to seaworld.

We used the I-trolley on our first trip to orlando in 2001, never felt the need to travel on it again on my last 3 trips. I like a bit of comfort when I'm travelling. Lynx buses are a $1.50 per trip.

We did it a couple of times in July from Pop Century. Disney bus to MK then the ferry across to TCC then the bus to Seaworld. We quite enjoyed the different modes of transport :sunny:

What we did find at Pop that the CM's told us we couldn't get a bus to Seaworld but fortunately we knew from the disboards exactly how to do the journey!

We've used the Lynx buses for a few years now. We found that some hotels won't tell you about them as they want you to use their (more expensive) transfers. ;) Many CM's use these buses to get to/from work, though and we have always found them reliable and on time. Timetables can be picked up on the Lynx buses themselves. They sure beat a $60 return taxi fare.

You can purchase a transfer ticket so that you could, for instance, take the bus from TTC to Sea World and use the transfer ticket to take a Lynx from there to I-Drive. These tickets were very inexpensive - about 10c (IIRC) the last time we used this facility - just ask your driver when you board.

Hope this helps. :teeth:

This might sound like a really silly question, but I have some friends who have booked to go to Discovery Cove while we are staying at diney next year. Would DC be the samw stop as Seaworld or would it be different? Could she walk from Seaworld to DC?

Many thanks,
Claire xx

I think I'm right in saying that if you book DC it includes being picked up from Seaworld, at least that was the case when our friends did it in 2003

We went to DC this year, there is a phone near the trolley stop in the Sea World car park where you call DC (its free) and someone will pick you up.

I don't think walking to DC from SW is a good idea - you need to cross the Central Florida Parkway multi-lane to get there. :(

Ok, thanks very much and no I don't think I would intentionally send my friends out into the parkway if not necessary :rotfl2:
