Lynn & Tim TR Oct 1-8.UPDATE 4/3 UPDATED. COMPLETE

I LOVE it! That shirt looks awesome! And I'm loving the shoes too. You are going to be adorable!!! I can't wait to see pics! I think Darla is a good choice...very unique!!!

YAY!!! I'm so excited to go to the party. I wanted to be something different.

Those shoes are cute!!! Are they comfy. I am not a crocs fan, however they do have black mayrjane crocs. I am guilty of owning them, I don't wear them often but I did wear them during MNSSHP last year. They were very comfortable and kinda cute for crocs.

As for the kitchen sink, if it were just ice cream I think that we would have been okay, but they make you put muffins, cookies, brownies, bananas, and all kinds of other stuff including a whole can of whipped cream. I could have done without the baked goods. I am not a fan of the baked goods and ice cream combo. It was very fun to make though!

The shoes are soo comfy. I love them..I wanted to get something I could wear again and they were only $21.00 you can't beat that.

I forgot they put a whole can of whipped cream!! Insane!!
I think that you could easily make the head gear with a paperclip and a headband. It would be cheap and then if you didn't want to wear it, you didn't waste any money. It is a really cute costume. Is your husband going to dress as the dentist?

OMG that is a great idea!!

Sooo cute! I love the skirt! Can't wait to see pics of the final product.

Isn't it a cute skirt. I will wear that again too:yay:

Too cute! I'm so glad you went with the Darla idea. And whoever it was that said your DH should go as the dentist was spot on. That would be great. You can get scrubs anywhere.

I LOVE the Darla costume! You see a ton of Ariels in the park but not any Darla's This will be fantastic! I cannot wait to see you all done up in it.

Definitely your dh should be the dentist! :thumbsup2

I'm trying to get him to dress up. I mean the dentist wears a green scrub top and khakis.. not that hard to do!!

Everything is off to the side and ready to be packed.

I remember seeing that character photo before, maybe on the tips board? That is just amazing!!! What a nice surprise!
It will be fun to get signatures for the matte.

Great pin collection!
We have a few pins to trade on our next trip, but I don't think I ordered enough.

We will be there right before you, and we are really looking forward to MNSSHP!!!

Oh my gosh Lynn I just stumbled across your PRT! Everything looks great. Your suggestion on the Tonga Toast made me book Kona cafe for breakfast. And we're trying Boma for breakfast too. You'll have to let us know how it is when you get back. I'm sure your TR will be amazing. And Tim is so precious with his Donald Duck pins XD Your costume is so original everyone is going to love it! Have an awesome time.

Hi! Thank you for reading!

You will love Tonga Toast! I canceled Kona for Boma though...I think if I crave it I will head over to the POLY in the morning and get it in the food court.

I will let you know about Boma!!! I'm going to have a food report too.

Tim is crazy with the pins lol...I'm glad you like the costume.

I found your pre trip and subbing. I love the Darla idea very cute. BTW Steven Fisher is our guide when we bought SSR in 2006, I have yet to stay there yet.

Is he really? That is cool!!! He is such a nice man and was very helpful. I found him easy to talk to as well.

He was great and we only met him that day, but very easy to talk to and answer any questions we had. When we added on points six months later he was on vacation so I spoke with someone else to add on, but he called when he got back to follow up.

We're eating at Kona's for the first time in January and I plan on getting the Tonga Toast. I have a question though. Do you put syrup on it or just cut it and eat it?

I will not miss the parade and fireworks. I actually have to plan out what we are going to do for the party. Where we are going to start and which characters to meet first and do we go to the first or second parade?? I have to work on that.

I can't wait for Chef Mickeys..it just seems so cute!

We went to the first one as we had just got out Haunted Mansion we didn't have to wait and still found a decent spot I heard its better to go to the second one but as it had been raining earlier in the day I was terrified of us not watching the first one and the second one being rained off. Pooh/Tigger/Eeyore/Piglet seemed to have the longest character queue's.

Subbing - I LOVE the Darla idea! Too cute!!!

We'll be at Pop Oct 4-12...maybe we'll see you there! Look for my DH doing a Grandpa power walk and my DS trying to run away, but laughing so hard he falls over...

I'll be the one several yards away with the lime green Baggalini, pretending I don't know either of them...

Hi Lynn,

I read your wedding report from the Spring while you went through it and just stumbled on this report. Congrats on DVC (we're still going back and forth on that one...do you really think it's cost effective?) and you'll have to let me know how SSR is when you get back! :goodvibes I love your costume for MNSSHP!! How original and adorble.....can't wait to see you all put together in your pictures when you get back...has Tim decided if he will be the dentist...that is perfect, if so!! Great report...can't wait to read the rest!!!:surfweb:

I'm a dipper lol...so I cut it and dip it in the syrup. I did not like that strawberry stuff they give you with it. I'm picky and when it comes to strawberries they need to be fresh.

Tonga Toast is good alone though... you may not be able to finish it though..I didn't it's huge.

I think we are going to do the second parade and do all the character greets first.

HAHA that is me..I always power walk lol. but wait what is a grandpa power walk lol?

If I spot you I will say hi and you do the same:goodvibes

Hey!!! Yes DVC is cost effective if you want to stay Deluxe and if you can /want to take multiple trips a year. We pay about 2300 a year for it plus dues and you end up paying more out of pocket for a deluxe a week.

Tim is being a brat and will not dress up. he says he is going as Donald Duck's number 1 fan.
