How long does it take to get an Uber/Lyft for a return to MCO? I know I want them to pick me up at 7:30am (for a 10:30 flight) so what time should I contact Uber/Lyft?

And just a reminder, these are always variable/estimates, but you can enter your pick up spot and destination at any time in the app just to get an idea for availability (and pricing). Eg, these screen shots from just now from Pop to MCO Terminal B. Just a few minutes for any option at the moment.

My only caution is that you're starting to get into people using Uber/Lyft to get to parks for Early Entry and/or breakfasts. A lot of the drivers may prefer to stay closer to property to get more rides, so it might take a little longer.

In Feb 2021 I had pre-booked a Lyft to go to the Covid testing site (needed to avoid being stuck at home for 10 days) for around that 7:30 time frame and literally no one was picking it up. Tried Uber and the same thing. The bell services guy at the Poly finally called a Mears Taxi for me. And getting back was a similar drama, though finally an Uber driver picked up the ride. He was super nice, but did say that around park opening/breakfast a lot of the drivers preferred to stay on property because they could get more rides.

Just did it for the first time last Tuesday. When we were ready we requested and within 10min driver was there. Very easy.

We use Uber each time we come and go at the resorts and airport - they are always there super quick so I would make sure you are ready with luggage in the lobby when you put in the request.

Feb 2021 rideshare availability was so insanely different than 2025 availability they should not even be compared. Two different worlds.

7:20 should be good, but I would schedule ahead if you need a larger vehicle.

i had a very early pickup time so i just pre ordered my lyft the day before
I was just going to say, can't you pre-schedule your ride ahead of time, such as the night before? I've done that with a 4am pick-up from home to the airport. I use Lyft and Uber interchangeably so I can't remember which service I specifically used but I think both offer that option.

Just be aware it's never a failsafe option when you're relying on anyone else to get you somewhere. I woudn't expect any issue with a pre-ordered ride but it would be smart to order your ride to arrive 15 minutes earlier than you really want it to. Just in case.
