Hi,

I'm sure my husband and I will not be able to make the entire trip without imbibing a couple vodka martinis. Where can we buy hard liquor (not beer or wine) near Disney World? We're staying off-site with a car so no problem driving to wherever we have to go. I don't want to risk carrying it in our suitcases.

there is a liquor (ABC I think) - over in the strip mall where Winnie-Dixie is located in Lake Buena Vista.

DH and I are big fans of dirty martinis with Ketel One vodka. Don't know where the liquor store is but just needed to add that, lol!!

There are ABC's all over the place, as well as a Goodings at the Crossroads just outside Downtown Disney, and over by the Mercado on I-Drive. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding the fixin's.

Hi, If you are staying south of Disney off Formosa Gardens Blvd. or Old Lake Wilson, Liquor Store in Formosa Gardens Blvd. Shopping Center just off 192. If farther west or on 27 there is Liqour Store on 27 just south of 192 at the big Polo Park east entrance...

Funny story...and a little embarrassing

We stopped here after a "late night snack" at Denny's...the "open" sign was "kind of" lit up.
We could see people inside, too, so we thought it's gotta be open.
Door is open ,and in we go.

...and we get the oddest looks from the employees..who are busy doing an inventory.

Well, isn't late at night the best time to do inventory? No customers, right?

We make our "selections", and head up to the cash...and the lady who goes behind the counter says:

"We're closed".

Now you tell me!! LOL!

and everyone else!! We are staying on Old Lake Wilson Rd. so the Formosa Gardens Shopping Center sounds like it's a winner! (I'm assuming that's going west on 192 towards Rte. 27??) My husband will be so pleased!
