Lurking No More!!! I want to join in!

Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking here since last summer after we decided to plan another Disney vacation and have enjoyed reading but been reluctant to post (I guess shyness comes through even over the internet!). I decided to begin posting because I want to join in on the fun!

I love Disney and have a vacation planned there in Feb with my husband, 13 month old daughter, my mom, my brother, and my 5-year-old nephew. I am considered a Disney freak by my family and thankfully my husband humors me! I am the official "tour guide" for our trip.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's trip reports, restaurant reviews, tips, etc. I look forward to chatting!

WELCOME TO THE DIS! You'll love it here. My daughter and I found these boards several years ago, and just hung around without posting for a long time. Then she decided to log on, and I've just been posting with her for a while. I finally decided to go ahead and get a name of my own just this week. The number of posts I have is about 1/millionth of the posts I've read. You'll become addicted. I'm a teacher, but when my kids are out to lunch, I'm in the room on the Disboards! I especially love the pictures people take on their trips and come back and share with us. It's fun to be back there via the pictures and trip reports until it's our time to go again. Like you, we are considered addicted Disnuts, but it's really a fun addiction! You will find a lot of good people here who are willing to give their advice and share their good and bad experiences, and they truly do what to hear about your Disney experiences, as well. Glad you're on board!

I'm a teacher too, and I find myself on here before or after school when we are waiting on bus dismissal (and sometimes during planning if time permits). I can't seem to make it until I get home to check out what's new on here. I have really enjoyed reading trip reports and dining reports because I feel like I'm visiting Disney again!
