Hello everyone!
I've been lurking around the DIS for about 2 years now, feeding my need for WDW related things. I finally decided to join and post, as I'm getting close to our next trip in May! xD
My name is Alyssa, I'm 20, and I live in Pennsylvania. This will be my 5th time to WDW over the past 6 years. I'm pretty much the planner for the trips, because I love the research, making lists, and planning everything. The others in this crazyness are:
Mother(teen in a 40 y/o body)- My mum acts like a child most of the time, and absolutely loves Star Wars. Last year was the first time we went down for Star Wars weekends, and she made it so we would be there for them again, even if it meant skipping a week of school. This will be her third trip. She's not much of a planner, and would rather just go without a plan at all. Silly her. xD
Sister(16)- Not quite as obsessed with Disney as me, but she loves to go. This will be her second trip. She's more of a thrill ride person, unlike me, and doesn't so much like things like the Tiki House, or most of the shows.
Brother(9)- He's also a Star Wars freak, and loves Disney. This will be his second trip.The bigger rides scare him(remembering taking him on ToT, and while in the pre-show room, the lights went out. The only thing to be heard was him screaming 'I don't want to go down!"
) I'm hoping he'll be a little more willing to go on rides this time.
Friend(17)- My older brother was supposed to come, but due to work he couldn't. My mum decided we would take him instead, she sees him as an adopted son of sorts. xD This will be his first trip. He's not so much into the Disney thing at all. And has told me he's not much into the characters either. I'm hoping he won't be too annoying, and will be more excited when we get there.
We're leaving on the 23rd, on a Boscov's charter out of Reading, for 7 days/6 nights. Staying at the All-Star Music in a family suite.
I already have all of the ADR's done(well, thats the one thing my mum does, call the people. xD I'm not much of a phone person.) And a schedule. Tomorrow we go to the meeting thing for the charter flight and get our stuff hopefully.
Well, I've written quite a lot, so I'll stop now. xD
