We just got back from what was supposed to be a week in the sun...which made every effort to avoid seeing us...but what the heck...it's Disney World!
In the past few years we have made a change to our normal dining routine. We switched our main meal from dinner time to lunch time except for arrival day and we are still getting great food at significantly lower prices!
Sunday-50's Prime time! Excellent as always! We had Joe as our server who made the experience fantastic. The fried chicken is always top notch and the corn was excellent. The only thing not so great was the potatoes. My fries were at best want and not crispy and who ever was on mashed potatoes was having an off night. The chocolate shake was amazing!
Monday-Beirgarten-Excellent food and fun! Great server who after I left my camera hanging on the back of the seat chased us down outside to return it!
Tuesday-Captains Grill-My wife, the adventurer had a cheeseburger but my sister and I had seafood. I tried the fish and chips which were very good. She had the shrimp salad sandwich and loved it!
Wednesday-Fultons! If you want to eat here go for lunch! The food is just as good and about half the dinner price! I had the fried fish platter. the scallops were out of this world, the cod fillet was plump and perfectly prepared and the shrimp were tasty and fresh. My sister had the lobster roll (i tried a bite) and loved it! My adventerous wife had the cheeseburger...
Thursday-We hit the counter service restaurants in MK and had turkey legs as an afternoon lite bite. The burgers were good but not as good as the ones my wife had at the Captains grille or Fultons.
We can't wait to go back and try more new places!
