I thought I read somewhere that this program, lunch with an imagineer, was now being offered at Flying Fish, as well as the Brown Derby. But I can't remember where I heard it, and when I put this question on the TP board, no one responded. Has anyone heard of this?

Hi Simba's Mom. I posted about a sign I saw there when we had at FF two weeks ago. It is Dinner with an Imagineer. I understand it is being offered every other week for the time being. Trial basis.

I ate there on February 27 and saw no such sign.

That's interesting. We dined a few days before you. It was on the left hand side of the main desk as you entered the restaurant...not a free standing large sign but a framed piece of paper on the counter.

I also happened to talk to an Imagineer who knew of it.

I hope it hasn't been discontinued already.

Simba's Mom, if you call, can you let us know? I'm sure it will not be one you can book on the website at least for now.

Doubt it's been discontinued, it was probably in the way and they moved it - it was VERY busy that night.

You usually can't book special meal events online - you have to call WDW-DINE to do that.

Extra fun things like that are usually advertised in that frame on the left side of desk. If you don't look you could easily miss it. They advertise the wine luncheons that way as well.

The service was such that I'm not sure I'd even book a wine luncheon there now. Too bad, the food was good.
