We're going in Oct, and I want to meet up with my aunt who lives in Orlando (no park tix) for a late lunch (we'll be going to MNSSHP that evening). Does anyone have any non-park lunch TS suggestions, perferably somewhere pleasent where we could walk around or sit somewhere afterwards to hang out and catch up?
I had been hoping to try Kouzzina, but they aren't listed as serving lunch.
Thanks!

If you wanted to say near the Magic Kingdom, you might try Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Nice lunches and you could go grab a hammock on the beach and talk after lunch.

The Wave at the Contemporary is very nice as well. After lunch, hop the Monorail and tour the resorts on the Monorail line. Transfer at the TTC and take a ride to and through Epcot.

Another suggestion is Saana at the Animal Kingdom Villas. Great food and a view of the savannah watching the animal eat while you eat. Have fun!

You really can't beat the atmosphere of AKL. We are also big fans of the Poly. In fact, if you wanted to do QS instead of TS, Captain Cook's is awesome!

Great suggestions!

I agree with the previous poster who recommended the restaurants at AKL. That lobby is beautiful and you could sit there for hours and catch up. We had dinner at Boma in February and spent time in the lounge before dinner and hung out on those comfy couches in the lobby afterwards. There's also an indoor firepit which is fun on a chilly evening.

We go to Fultons at DTD every trip - especially our October trip when stone crabs are in season . The lunch menu is less expensive then the dinner one but they will make anything you want from the dinner menu. The restaurant is really nice, get a table by the window, food is great and you can just relax a bit.

I like Kona Cafe. Good food, good service. Aftwards you can stroll the grounds of the Poly or kick back in the comfy club chairs outside of the lounge with a couple drinks. Since you're doing a late lunch, when your family is ready to leave you'll be very close to the Magic Kingdom and getting in for your MNSSHP (you can get in at 4).
