I have never eaten at Animal Kingdom even though I've been there twice!
Last trip it was pouring the entire time so we did the safari then went back to the hotel. The time before that we were much younger and got by on a beer and a quick snack. :)
I've read so many reviews and looked at pictures of the food and I just can't decide! Where and what do you like to eat there? QS and TS welcome.

I have tried all the table service at AK multiple times, and all are fine. This past weekend, I took the board's up on the suggestion to bus over to AKL and to try Sanna. This was by far the best choice. I can't rave enough about it. I thought it would be a real time grind, but it was not. I found my trip over there and back shorter than treks out to the MK resort areas for a meal. And the food, I just can't say enough about it. It really was a wonderful experience.

For CS, we have always eaten at Flametree BBQ, but in May we tried Harambe Market. Now the choice is really hard, because we loved the new Harambe Market. Can't go wrong with either one, just depends on if you're in the mood for BBQ or something new that is really delicious!!!!

For counter service definitely Flame Tree Bbq! Fantastic! For table service I would either do rainforest at the park entrance, or as pp suggested, take the quick bus to AKL and try Sanaa. You will get to view the animals there as well.

My daughter and I did a late lunch at Yak and Yetti back in May! It is a really cool restaurant and a nice break from the heat of the afternoon.
We shared the Chicken fried rice and it was fantastic! We did the lettuce wraps too and they were ok, but probably would not get them again.
We really enjoyed lunch there....

Tusker House is an excellent option for a relaxing lunch. I also found pizzafari quite good as well sitting outside.

No help here, our family likes all of the food options at AK and we eat at most of them on a regular basis. The only thing I will add is Yak and Yeti makes a nice break during a hot day because it is air conditioned and has adult beverage options that most of our family members enjoy.

Sanna is on my list but we won't be able to make it over there on our AK day. We need lunch in the park that day.

I had already made an ADR for Yak and Yeti but then started looking at other options and became unsure. You talked me into it because I love me some a/c and some adult beverages. Thanks!:)

Flame Tree BBQ for QS or Tusker House for TS. Although, we do enjoy Tusker House breakfast better than lunch. I'd recommend doing a late breakfast at TH.

Haven't done TS at AK for quite a while. We usually wing it for QS lunch depending on lines, FP times, show times. We like Flame Tree best but Pizzafari is also good. Advantage of Pizzafari is you can opt to sit inside or outside.

We had a surprisingly good lunch at Yak & Yeti. We thought the service and food were good and the atmosphere was very nice. My husband had tempura shrimp and I had crispy honey chicken- both were great. For QS, we like Flame Tree Barbeque.

QS best choice: Flame Tree BBQ. My favorite QS on property.

Restraurantosaurus is good too. It tends to get some flak for having a really basic menu (burgers, nuggets, hot dogs), but I really like the seating and the theming. Plus, it has a toppings bar for your sandwiches and a self-serve soda machine. Those are hard to come by.

I would avoid the Yak & Yeti QS location. I didn't care for it at all. The food wasn't very good, and the seating situation is worse than the food. You can get better Chinese food at any local buffet.

TS best choice: Yak & Yeti. My favorite TS on property. I can't say enough good things about it.

I have never been to any place that wasn't mentioned above, so I can't really comment on those place. I guess I have found what I like and I like to stick with that!

Another vote for Flame Tree BBQ! If you go be sure to walk all the way to the back of the table area as there is a spot that overlooks the lake and Expedition Everest. It is a great picture spot!

Y&Y Table service. I don't care for the Y&Y counter service.

Just outside the gate is Rainforest Cafe. If you've never been there, it's a cool restaurant experience for children, but don't go there for the food (which is merely ok).

Tusker House buffet is another good option.
