Lunch (or Dinner) With An Imagineer

Anyone had lunch or dinner with an Imagineer lately ? We are trying to book this for our Aug. trip. Did you have any trouble getting the date that you wanted ? Thanx gang !

i have not done the dine with an imagineer yet but i scheduled to do one for lunch on august 8th. i only scheduled a little over a week ago and the woman said my week was completely available. there is a thread somewhere on this board where someone posted pictures and review of their lunch at the brown derby but i do not have the link.

Just to be safe - I was told by a CM yesterday to call at exactly 7 AM, sixty days before the day I want to book. Now, obviously, this is not always necessary (thanks, futreWDI!) but since I 'need' a specific date...

I've seen it posted here that you can make reservations 60 days out. Are the lunches only offered specific days of the week or what is the schedule?

Lunches are offered M-W-F at 11:30 at the Brown Derby.

I call him a "software Imagineer"--he's a software engineer and he does not work on any attraction development, so he's not an Imagineer.

These do fill up VERY quickly! Took us three trips to finally score a ressie. I took whatever was open, then switched my other ADR's around. We had a great time, and stayed talking until nearly 3:30! This was a present for my son's 18th BD! Lunch was great and the Imagineer was VERY pleasant and kind to all of us!
