We could do either one and plan to eat before dark with maybe a chance of being able to see the animals. Which would be best, lunch or dinner? Which does everyone prefer and why?

I've done both, and I much prefer lunch for 2 reasons. The main reason is that it's much quieter, more relaxing, and sunnier. The second reason is that the meal I most like, Tandoori sandwich with shrimp is (or at least was last I checked) only available at lunchtime.

Lunch and ask for a window seat, you can see the animals.

We did lunch and got a window seat. It was a lovely meal. Best butter chicken I think I have ever had in my life. And the bread service was so good.

Yes I think the Tandoori sandwich is only at lunch. I breezed over the menu and I don't remember seeing it for dinner.

I have read a lot of reviews about how good the butter chicken is. Actually I have not read one bad review on Sanaa.

We loved our lunch at Sanaa! Wish it wasn't so out of the way or we'd go back regularly. We had a late lunch at 1:30 or 2pm so we could request a table by the windows since it was less crowded. Highly recommend. If you do dinner, I would go as early as possible, and defnitely don't skip the bread service!

We have lunch around 2:30 it increases the chances of having a window table.

We did a late lunch. It was a wonderful experience. There were only two or three other tables in there occupied at the time. We had a great seat. The food was really good. Seeing the animals was no problem.

Thanks all I never thought of it be less crowded around 2:00. That may be the time we pick,
