Which do you prefer: lunch or dinner at 50's PT? I'm trying to decide where to take the parents during our Oct. visit. We haven't dined here in years. Our last experience was just so-so, but all of the recent postings about this establishment have convinced me to give it a try again.

I believe the menu's are pretty close (and the prices are not higher for dinner, as with other restaurants). During lunch they have a few more sandwich offerings. We like this place, and have been there for both lunch & dinner. We love the fried chicken there!

I say split the time. You get hugh portions, so eat a big breakfast and then eat at 50's PTC later in the day.

Lunch since it's cheaper but you get the same service and experience. Plus, it's nice to take a break during the afternoon.

I prefer to go around 3-4 pm. Then go to all the rides in the area for a few hours then off to watch the night show. We go early to get a good seat. The popcorn taste better when you dont have such a full tummy. LOL

We usually head there for lunch, it's a MUST EAT for my family!

We prefer a mid-afternoon lunch here when we need a break from touring. This year I WILL by trying the pb&j shake. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

We've been there several times for both lunch and dinner. In my opinion, it's your waiter or waitress that makes the difference.

Last time we were in a room towards the back with a couple of other tables. The waiter was giving one of the kids a hard time about not finishing his meal, so we switched him with a kid from the other table. When the waiter returned, we all swore that it was the same kid and the "new" family treated him as one of their own, hugs and all. Then he tried feeding one of the adults the veges he did not eat. A couple of us asked for additional sodas, so when he left for refills, the adult switched with another from the neighboring table and pretended to be part of their family. Our whole area was laughing so loud, the other servers and patrons kept poking their head in to see what was going on in our area.

It is one of our favorite restaurants. Visit it more than once, you won't be disappointed. :cool1:

We always plan a mid day PS(AR)! :cool1: It is a nice break! Also, I love their chicken sandwich! :cool1:
