Any suggestions for a good place to have lunch near the bayside marina for the adults while the kids are off on their albatross treasure cruise?

Beaches & Cream is a fun place for burgers, ice cream and sodas! It's in the middle of the BC/YC area.

Two spots that I would be more likely to choose for an adults only quiet lunch would be the Yacht Club Galley and Crew's Cup which is the lounge next to Yachtsman's steakhouse. Not that there might not be children there but you won't have to talk over the sounds from the gameroom.

We LOVE Beaches & Cream for wonderful burgers and ice cold beer, right at the BC!

You can also walk or take the ferry over to the BW area to the ESPN club or the Brewery. We have had a great lunch (and dinner) at the brewery and I love it because you can eat outdoors at the BW. Recently my sil and I had an appetizer dinner at ESPN that was terrific.

Last time I was at the YC (October) the crews cup lounge wasn't serving food - hopefully this was temporary but I thought it worth a mention. It was about 6ish and sil and I wanted a quick retreat ~

I love the wing dingers (chicken fingers for adults) at the ESPN zone. I know it is loud but if you like a busy atmosphere it is wonderful! Great drinks and good times!

No, no tell me that isn't true! We didn't have a bite there this trip or in January but we DID in October. I do hope it was temporary the week you were there.

Not to mislead anyone, it is a short menu. No shorter than B&C though excluding the ice cream.

It used to be that only appetizers were available after 5. I wonder if it was a return to that. Do you remember what week you were there?

I also agree with Beaches & Cream

another place to try is Big River Grille & Brewing Works. Nice beer and burgers

Almost positive that Crew Cup Lounge is not open for lunch.

I thought it used to open at noon and serve from that time on. :confused3

But we were at BCV a couple of weeks ago and the newsletter doesn't mention anything about food at Crew's Cup at all.

So I take back part of my advice. But I would still try Yacht Club Galley. The sandwiches and appetizers that were served at Crew's Cup are offered there as well as other things. More extensive menu that B&C and much more quiet.

Isn't dropoff at 9:30? We are doing a late breakfast when we do the Albatross cruise.

Yacht Club Breakfast Buffet - Adults $15.99
