Lunch @ monorail resort

I really have no idea but I have to call and make ADRs soon. On the day of arrival (staying at GF), can you suggest a restaurant for lunch (TS)? I plan to visit either MK or HS after lunch, but we already planned a breakfast at Crystal Palace on the next morning. Not sure about Hollywood Studio - visited Hollywood & Vine once and was not impressed.

I guess my options are quite limited -
a). Grand Floridian Cafe
b). Kona Cafe
c). The Waves

Please comment.

I haven't had lunch at any of them, but Kona Cafe is one of our absolute favorite places for dinner so I'd probably pick that, it is sooooo good!

The Grand Floridian Cafe is yummy. I have also heard good things about Kona. Remember too that WL is only a boatride away and they have WCC! Have fun!

Another vote for Kona. We've taken breaks from MK for lunch at Kona since 1982 (I think the name was different back then), and we've always had good meals there.

we've had lunch at grand floridian cafe and always enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, service and the wonderful food - haven't been to the wave at CR yet, but from the menu, reviews and photos i've seen, i'd love to eat there sometime! (but already have 9 ADRs for 8 days...)

I haven't tried Kona, but will in Jan. for dinner with my husband. I vote taking the boat to WL and eating at WCC. Love it!!!!! Plus I love the boat ride and the grounds of WL.

Have you considered taking the boat to the Wilderness Lodge to go to Whispering Canyon?

No experience yet with the Wave.

But both Kona Cafe and GF Cafe have great food. Our pick is usually GF Cafe though for lunch. It's so beautiful on a sunny day. The menu has the variety that appeals to us for lunch. We really enjoy Kona for lunch too though so I'd say try both. Or I should say all three. The single lunch review I've seen for the Wave was quite positive.

So no help there at all.
