Hi everyone

I finally decided this weekend to change from Escape to Wishes! (YAY!)

To make our MK/Epcot pics count towards our minimum we are having them the morning of the wedding and I moved our ceremony from 10am to 12pm.

This screws up some ideas I had for a brunch buffet but will just go with lunch buffet instead.

I am looking to keep lunch around 45-55pp. I came up with this idea but my sales consultant is out until tomorrow and I wanted to ask the experts here if you could share your menus/pricing and any ideas what you did/looked into.

So far I have:

Cheese/crackers (pre-reception)
Ceasar Salad
Parmesean crusted chicken
Potato (mashed or roasted)
Green Beans or Asparagus (vegetable)
Italian Sausage (with sauteed onions/peppers)
Pasta station (alfredo and marinara sauce and penne pasta)
Bread/Rolls
?possibly an appetizer like crab cakes or mickey quesedillas

Any ideas what Disney would ball[ark for this?
Also any other ideas for changing it up/suggestions welcome as well as what you guys had/pricing to help me make some decisions!

THANKS!!!

For a Wishes Lunch ceremony the minimum you must spend per adult guest is $100pp, so you may not be able to have a $55 lunch. unless you're doing a package bar for the full 4-5 hours that could be as high as $45pp and be combined with the $55 to hit the $100 minimum.

We did a BOC and a $78pp pre-reception/lunch. With those two things we hit the per person minimum perfectly.

There was another thread a few days ago about lunch menus and prices here.

From what I have gathered it has to be 100pp over the course of the day not at a specific meal, correct?

Yes, so if you're having a DP that night or streamers/ribbon wands for your staged exit that would all count.

The bulk of my 100pp came from the meal and bar. My ribbon wands were only $2.50pp and place cards were around the same price. They really didn't make a huge dent in the pp price like the meal and bar did.

We had a DP the night before so that didn't count.

Phew! I actually saw your post on the other menu forum and I liked that too, its close to what I am thinking (in terms of items etc)

I will be having a dessert party and have budgeted 30/pp there and around 50/pp for lunch so there is some wiggle room taking off the dessert to add to dinner and I can move a few other things around too.

I see that most of the meals include coffee, tea and iced tea. Do you think they can also add lemonade? If it includes these drinks I may change to BOC from soda bar allowing a little extra pp for the meal. Can I ask for carafes of water/iced tea/lemonade to be at each table?

I think your lunch menu sounds good. I would also consider serving some savory items at the DP instead of all desserts, so that you don't need a super heavy lunch menu. We had 4 desserts plus an antipasto display for $32 pp.

I like that idea! Thanks!! I was considering an appetizer or something like the antipasto display at the dessert party too so people can just have a lighter snack in between reception and dessert party!!
Great ideas guys thanks! Please keep them coming!
