Lunch items at dinner??

Anyone know if you can get menu items from the lunch menu at dinner? Specifically at Tutto Italia? We wanted snack around the flower & garden festival rather than having a true lunch, but are planning on having dinner at Tutto Italia and there's one dish I keep seeing pictures of that I want to order but it's on the lunch menu. Has anyone ever done this before?

Go over to touringplan's restaurant reservation finder, put in dates and time and make sure your cell phone is nearby to grab a ressie when they tell you it's avail..

What size party are you looking for? We are a party of 2 & I usually have to make an adr for 3 at Tutto Italia. For some reason they book very few parties if 2. So I book for 3 & just tell them we’ll be only 2 when I get there. Never had a problem & the restaurant is often pretty empty. No idea why they do this, but because it happens all the time, I don’t even feel bad doing it. Just working he system they set up.

That's actually exactly what we did to get our dinner reservation! Glad to know they've never given you a hard time when you told them there would just be 2 of you. None for 2 or 3 that day for lunch though, and truthfully I would really prefer sticking with our dinner reservation there. I was just curious if it would be possible to still order off the lunch menu.

To answer your question, usually no it cannot be done. The kitchen switches over for dinner and the ingredients for whatever was done at lunch will not be available. That doesn't mean it's a concrete no, and it never hurts to ask, but chances are pretty slim.

I once had pineapple macadamia pancakes for dinner at Kona Cafe, so nothing's impossible. But certainly not guaranteed.

You could always go and check the menu and see if the luch and dinner menus are alike. They are at some places.
