My trip is in the beginning of February and I have most of my meals planned out (thanks to you wonderful people) But I just added a day in HS. I and am not sure where to go for lunch. I've read a lot of mixed reviews.

As we have a lot of our FP+s booked in the afternoon that day I'm thinking something relatively quick, not table service. Any suggestions would be welcome. It will just be me and my boyfriend, we are both 26. Any place relatively calm and where we can order a beer if we are feeling like one would be perfect. Just looking for where people have had nice lunch experiences in HS. Thanks in advance!!!

How about the new lounge area at the Brown Derby? Or if you're on a Dining Plan, a QS lunch at Starring Rolls (right next door), then step across to the HBD lounge (indoor and outdoor seating) for a relaxing adult beverage?

For a quick service meal, try Backlot Express. I think maybe not many people notice it, as it is tucked aside near Star Tours. They have burgers, salads, paninis, etc. There is a lot of seating and a gret Fixins bar. I believe you can get beer there. There is also a small lounge in the front of 50's Prime Time restaurant, for a mixed cocktail, in a neat atmosphere.

This! We went to HBD lounge in December and it was great. Good food, drinks, and people watching.

Love Backlot express for a counter service. It is a hidden gem and we love the grilled turkey and cheese:goodvibes and they also have a couple of really good burgers. They do have beer.
If you are looking for a truly uniquely amazing, quite atmosphere I would recommend Sci-Fi. It is a sit down and requires reservations. It has GREAT burgers and onion rings and their ruben is delicious. The atmosphere is drive in movie theatre, you sit in cars with twinkling lights and watch old movie clips. It is a must for us everytime we are at Disney.
We were so disappointed in the Brown Derby that we would never go back there, but you will find good and bad experiences at every restaurant in Disney. We do like 50's Prime time (especially the PB&J shake and fried chicken dinner) it is loud and would definitely NOT be a quite evening.

Have fun where ever y'all end up:flower3:

we lave backlot express for CS. Great wraps. huge portions that you could split

Hands down the sandwiches at starring rolls. Huge and delish. Nothing beats adding a butterfinger cupcake to go with it.
For table service we prefer 50's. There was nothing we didn't like when we ate there. Hubby had the sampler plate, I had the pot pie, and the kids all had fried chicken. Everything was seasoned and cooked well.
