Is eating at Le Cellier in Canada too formal for kids (girls, 7 and 6) for lunch or dinner?

Also, how the heck do you pronounce it? I'm a Spanish teacher, not French!!!

Not too formal for kids. We did lunch there in August w/ DD 5 at the time. It was lunch time and we were hot, in shorts and of course looked better. I mean it is Disney. I think you can expect kids in any resturant so I wouldn't be concerned. Of course we take our DD about anywhere.

FYI: Le Cellier is pronounced "luh cell-ee-AY" and mean "Celler"!

Bon voyage!

I think Le Cellier is a great place to take your kids for a meal. It's not formal at all, and may help relieve some of the sensory overload they're experiencing in the park :D We had good food in a great atmosphere here.

My girls, 8 and 12, and I had Christmas Eve dinner at Le Cellier. It was wonderful and we will go back again. I think we may try lunch this time, though. The meal was very good and the restaurant was fine for the girls. The star of the evening was the Moose dessert for my 8 year old ;) and the Creme Brulee for me ;) !

I agree with Bweagle, that this is a good place to take your children to wind down for a while. We were there once for lunch and once for dinner. At both seatings there were children present. Our children enjoyed dining there. They especially were fond of the pretzel breadsticks.

We love Le Cellier. The salmon is excellent!
Don't forget to save room for the BeaverTails cart just before you come in. It is the one thing my husband NEVER forgets to have. Even if he has to make a special trip in the pouring rain to get some.

Yes the beaver tails! Every year we get a picture of my DS with icing all over his face. This is a family tradition!

Le Cellier is fine for kids. Its a bit dark, but its a theme park restaurant and kids are expected and welcomed.

The moose, er, mousse, in my signature is from Le Cellier.
