Lunch ? Buffet with Cinderella @ Royal Table

I have been trying (with no luck) to get a 'ps' for the Cinderella breakfast and when I called today the rep. asked if I'd like to do the lunch instead. We went ahead and got a 'ps' for a late 2:40 lunch. My question is, who has done the lunch and how was it? What are the foods served on this buffet? And who as far as characters are there usually?

I think the characters are going to be a rotation of princesses, but it doesn't start until I think June 10. I don't think it's buffet, it seems like there was a menu to choose from, but I can't find the link now. You might do a search on this board or scroll down several pages and see if you can find it.

This is part of the confusion I have, the guide book I have states only the breakfast character meal but the rep. I talked to on the phone said it was a Lunch Buffet and the allears menu shows a sit-down type menu???

Anyone know for sure? Anyone been to this meal?

It is definitely not a buffet, and does not begin until June 10 so nobody will be able to report on a personal experience with it yet. Here is a link to a thread we have here on the DIS that contains the menu, price, etc. Sounds excellent to me!

So is the menu on allearsnet correct then for this lunch? We are leaving for FL on June 10th so I'll miss out on any reviews. What do we all think about this? Is it good to be there in the first week of something like this or are you more like "test" subjects?

Also, about the charging your card right away...what if you are doing the dining plan (which we are), they will credit your card the full amount or how does that work?

Also, do you think if I call back to WDW they are going to have more info on this?

If you tell them you are on the Magic Your Way + Dining package, they will not charge your card when you make the reservation.

so since I've already made the 'ps' today if I call back tomorrow do you think they will refund my card based on the dining package?? I should be better informed before I call, but this is our first trip and I'm pretty new to all of this.

Also, does anyone know then if the allears menu is correct for the lunch?
