We just got back from our recent trip with some "disturbing news"!! The lunch buffet (according to the CM's at Trails End) will be discontinued in the next couple of weeks!
DW and I have gone to TE on about every other trip. We do the lunch buffet as the dinner is simply too costly. The fried chicken is the best I've ever had (in my opinion) and will be sorely missed! The plan is to have an ala carte lunch, similar to counter service offerings elsewhere. I got conflicting reports on whether or not the chicken will be offered for lunch!
As an avid TE fan and specifically a TE fried chicken fan, I am begging any guest to TE to inform your CM your feelings about the TE lunch buffet! It is really unfortunate to see this awesome lunch buffet, disappear! It is still a marginal value and with a good appetite, a great value!
It will be a shame to see it go....
