Lunch/Brunch hours

We'll be at DL/DCA during the busy summer season. Our schedule will likely often include a very early lunch to keep us fueled inside the parks (we are rope droppers and will be coming from EST), and then a relaxing meal outside the parks during our long afternoon breaks.

What time does CS typically start serving lunch? I searched but didn't find hours. Do any start earlier? Are there any good inside-the-park options for a quick meal around 10 a.m. that would give us a little protein and energy? Any good ideas? I don't suppose there's any place for my teen to get pizza or chicken at that hour?

CS lunch times vary, but most tend to start serving lunch around 11:00 am. I think Galactic Grill/Tomorrowland Terrace switch to lunch first (starts serving lunch at 10:30 am in general) and the Plaza Inn is the last (noon in general).

At 10, you'd need to get food from among the (limited) breakfast options. Rancho de Zocalo has the most variety inside DL.

My recollection from many summer visits is the earliest that we could get a table service lunch reservation was 11:30am but that at counter service places like Jolly Holiday and Paradise Pier Garden Grill we could get lunch items starting at 11am.

Table service lunch starts at 1130a, most counter service starts at 11a (Plaza starts at noon.)

It's a lot easier to adjust to time zone changes if you let go of the idea that it's a different time back home.

I know it will be easier now that my kids are older and better at sleeping in. It won't be like the last time we were in Cali, when my then-7-year-old woke up every morning at 4 a.m. But I plan to take a little advantage of the time difference to get my teenager up in time for rope drop.
