We are visiting for only one day a week from today. Trying to do a QUICK lunch between HS and MK - leaving HS ~12:30 and arriving MK by 2:00. Which would you choose?

1. Uber to TTC then walk to Poly (mobile order Kona), boat to MK
2. Uber to TTC then monorail to GF (mobile order Gasparilla), monorail to MK
3. Uber to TTC then boat to WLodge (mobile order Roaring Fork), boat to MK
4. Uber to Contemporary where we have a 1:00 ADR at the Wave, walk to MK
5. Just stay at HS and do Baseline Tap House, Backlot Express, or Docking Bay Seven. Then bus to TTC, ferry/monorail to MK.
6. Skyliner to Epcot, try to hit some Flower and Garden booths, walk to Boardwalk, uber to TTC, ferry/monorail to MK.

Sorry if too much detail but I just keep bopping between these options. Are they all basically equal?? UGH

No boat from TTC to Wilderness Lodge... you would boat to MK then boat to WL
Would not be able to get into EPCOT before 1:50

I would do Baseline Tap House... keep it simple.

I'm confused, Can't you take an Uber directly to WL? I know Uber to Contemporary can be an issue but is POLY and GF an issue? I'd go with 4 or 5 depending on what kind of meal experience you're looking for.

I would say 4 or 5. Couple thoughts though:

With 4, not sure I’d mess with an Uber to Contemporary, could probably take a bus either directly to the resort or to MK (which ever came first).

With 5, that bus will go directly to MK, not TTC. With that option you definitely have more time at HS.

Can you even do 6? If you can park hop 3 parks right now that'd be awesome. I'd do the Wave and then walk into MK or walk to Beaches and Cream then hit the bus at the resort to MK.

Beaches & Cream appears to be totally booked up for lunch next Saturday.

As a PP pointed out, no park hopping before 2pm under the current schedules.

I did think an Uber to WL could get turned away. I’d read that you have to arrive by Disney transportation to guarantee you can get into the resorts.

Thanks for the boat info - got it mixed up. And totally forgot the 2:00 time. Glad I posted!

So it sounds like these are the best options. Thanks so much! Last question: will the bus from HS to the Contemporary be running at 12:30ish? Or not until 1:30-1:45?

4 or 5. Or a possible 7, leave Hollywood Studios and grab a QS meal at MK. I guess it depends on what you want to do. Do you want a nice break in the middle of the day to recharge? 4. Are you trying to maximize your ride time in the parks and just fuel up quickly? 5 or 7.

Other thoughts:

-Double check if you can get to the hotels without a room or dining reservation. I thought I heard in one of the blogs or vlogs that you may need to be a hotel guest or having a dining reservation to enter a hotel, but don't quote me on that.

- Another option is the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary. I actually really like this QS. They usually have good food and it's usually not to busy around lunch time. Since Chef Mickey's isn't open for lunch it's also fairly quiet-ish. It's a nice place to sit and people watch, as well as monorail watch. There is also a bar right there if you want to get a drink. If you need more time in the AC, there are some shops on that floor to look at, and there is a huge outdoor patio with benches that overlooks MK. In fact, if you aren't getting anything to hard to eat (aka anything you can hold or place on your lap), I've taken food out to that patio and eaten out there. You usually get a decent breeze up there, but it can be warm, especially if you are visiting next week.

If I was only going for one day and going to two parks, I would do the truly quickest option-which would be to grab QS or a heavy snack in one of the parks you are already planning to be in. I would keep it simple with as few stops and modes of transportation as possible.

Can’t go wrong with either. Bacon and eggs at The Wave and Cuban at Backlot.

The bus from HS to Contemporary will be running the whole day around HS hours. There will definitely be buses when you’d like to leave around noon.

Its not like park to park buses that only start running for hopping at 2pm. Park to resort buses run the whole time as that’s the only transit for guests to get back to their resort.

none of the above. Bus from HS to WL. Or Uber from HS to WL. Then boat from WL to MK.

With just one day, I'd spend more time in the parks rather than eating at the resorts, even the Contemporary. So eat at either DHS or MK, whichever has food that appeals to you. Then again, I think u pointed you can't enter MK until 2pm, so eating at DHS makes more sense.

When I have more time, I love eating at the resorts.
