We usually have lunch at one of countries in Epcot. We've been to Canada twice, Mexico and Japan. We're thinking about the UK this year, the menu looks pretty good. Anyone have lunch experience there? BTW the sitdown restaurant not the counter service.

I went there for lunch with my family this past December and again for dinner a couple weeks ago, and I would say that there isn't much difference between lunch and dinner besides price, and the portions may have been smaller. The portions were perfect for lunch, either way.

We shared a fruit and cheese plate, between us had the beef stew, curry vegetable plate, bangers and mash, and a salad, and shared the Drambuie trifle.

This has been a favorite of dd15 and mine for many years. We eat there a couple of times each visit.

Hint: If you like mushrooms, try their mushroom appetizer! Plenty for 2 or more people to share and it is DELICIOUS!:p

Give it a try!::yes::

On other threads there have been some negative reviews about Rose & Crown - some good ones too. We had dinner there 4 years ago and continued to try other places. Last month ds(12) asked if we could try lunch. We had no PS, it was Noon and smack in the middle of Spring Break. We walked right in. We were seated at a table for 6-YiKes!!!! Our server was prompt, attentive but with little personality - oh well. We each had fish and chips - DIVINE!!! HUGE, I mean huge servings. The fish was lightly battered, warm and yummy. We also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert - very good. We have now decided to return during our October visit. It was relaxing, we enjoyed being outside but covered, and, the food was great.

We enjoy it very much for lunch especially when seated outside on a beautful FL day.

I wasn't hugely impressed with the food, but if you go before the end of June, ask for Lee. He was FABULOUS. :)

We love R&C but have only had dinner there. One thing to keep in mind is that WS lunches can be big, so dinner might not need to be a major production.:earsboy:
