Lunch at The Boathouse bar?

How difficult would it be for two adults to walk into The Boathouse on Sunday 12/9 at lunchtime and score two seats at the bar with a view of the water?

The Boathouse has at least three bars. Not sure which one you want to sit at. The one on the dock, you can't avoid seeing the water, so it shouldn't be difficult at all. If you would rather sit indoors, that will narrow your ability to see water.

Then if you are good with sitting outside (there is a ceiling but no walls), go down to the dock bar. Sit anywhere.

Thank you for your reply. I'm going to hold on to my reservation. I figure the 48 hour cancellation time is enough to figure out if the weather will be pleasant enough to sit outside.

I've decided that when it's just me (or me and DH) we're going to skip the hassle of making ADRs and just sit at the bar of whatever restaurant strikes our fancy to eat dinner....Disney has the BEST bartenders!! Great for conversation, very knowledgable about the menus (not just their restaurants but all of the others, too) and Disney in general and full of awesome ideas for good food

You can also just ask to sit at the bar or outside. I do that when I have a reservation

Alternatively You can book via open table. Where amazingly they let you cancel at any time

Now I'm torn! I will be traveling in December and my plan was to enjoy the 6:00 pm tree lighting ceremony the holiday entertainment that followed. Decisions, decisions.
