Hi All!

Want to do Candlelight Processional this December, but I can't give up 2 precious TS credits for it...so, thinking about paying OOP for lunch at Rose and Crown.

The menu on all ears is dated last June, so I'm wondering it it has changed...there isn't a steak listed on the menu, but the Sunday Roast is on there...

Just wondering what you've had for lunch and what you would recommend!

Thanks so much!

"lunch at Rose and Crown anyone"

Well, OK if you're paying....:rotfl2:

Sorry, it was the first thing I thought when I saw the title;) I can't help you as we're British so don't bother with it, but, hey, at least I bumped you up!

You're right! It did sound like an invitation to lunch!

Sure would have been better than my sad turkey sandwich I had while standing over the sink in my kitchen...Sigh...

Only 184 more days to go!

Kerri

PS: I'd still be happy to hear about Rose and Crown Lunch offerings. What did you enjoy?

We went to R & C for lunch in 1998, 2001 2007 & 2009.(had dinner there last year). As you can tell it is a must do for us.
The roast was good as was the chicken pie according to DH. Me ? I always stick to the fish & chips which I have always enjoyed.:thumbsup2

Thank you so much! It's reassuring to see how often you have returned!

We did lunch here in October 2010 and it was our favorite meal of the whole trip! I had the fish and chips and my BF had the pub burger.
