Lunch at MK

What is your favorite lunch at MK and why? TS or QS...does not matter.

For TS our fav at MK is Crystal Palace - we just love the characters and the food - we always eat here - sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner.

For CS we cant beat Cosmic Rays for the variety I can get the chicken meal and my picky husband can get a hot dog or burger.
THough we do both like El Pirata for the tacos, it just never seems to be open while we are there.

I don't love any of the MK TS, but I do recommend Columbia Harbor House as a QS.

our first choice for QS at MK is Pecos Bill's, but we also enjoy Cosmic Ray's. haven't tried columbia harbor house or pinnochio's village haus yet. TS at Liberty Tree Tavern is very good and we will eat at Crystal Palace for the first time in September.

TS lunch is LTT. My family gets turkey dinners and I always get the pot roast. SO YUMMY!!!

QS lunch is a toss up between Cosmic Rays and Columbia Harbor House. We usually hit both , sometimes twice. Love the chicken and ribs at CR.

We love everything at CHH including the apple blossom for dessert.

I love LTT for lunch..but...the food is heavy and hot! On a hot day, leaving full and walking the parks some more, its not always the best option.

The Plaza, on the other hand, is the opposite. Light / cold fare !

So..Spring/Summer, I would go with The Plaza. Fall / Winter would be LTT.

For TS my new favorite is Crystal Palace. We did bfast there last year and loved it.

QS...we always go to Cosmic Rays. It's decent food but it's also different than the usual burger/fries/chicken bucket that are everywhere else. We usually do the chicken/rib combo meal. But, we usually do this on days we don't have a dinner ressie because it's a good size meal.

We love lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. The colony salad is yummy and DH loves the pot roast. It's a relaxing break from a busy park.

We also like The Plaza. We only ate there once, but it was a great meal. Good burgers and good salad.

For QS, we like Cosmic Rays for the entertainment. We love Sonny Eclipse--he has such a fantastic voice. We've also always loved Pecos Bill's--good fixin's bar.

Crystal Palace has both the best food and best atmosphere in the MK. I agree, Cosmic Ray's is amazing for a QS meal (I get the roasted chicken, yumm...)

That's actually how we found it...it's one CS credit but almost twice the cost of other CS meals...better food and more food. We use this on days that we do a breakfast TS (character) meal.

TS- Crystal Palace (atmosphere, wide selection of good food, and characters) or the Plaza (quiet, light food, good prices)

QS- Colombia Harbor House (good food, but can get very crowded, plenty of seating)

We all really like CHH, but not the tuna sandwich because I really don't want a tuna sammie when I'm at a restaurant, love the fried shrimp and DH enjoys the BLT salad. We also like that you can take your lunch upstairs which is usually less crowded and quieter than downstairs.

Pecos Bill's burgers are pretty good, don't like that crumbly whole grain bun though. Didn't like Cosmic Ray's at all mostly because we don't want a big gloppy ribs and chicken lunch weighing us down during the day and the burgers were just meh.

Never tried a TS restaurant for lunch, only for dinner. Sometimes we go over the Capt. Cook's at the Poly for lunch, good stuff there including a Dole Whip for dessert.

For CS, I like Columbia Harbour House-go upstairs by a window and relax! For TS, I like LTT-colony salad (or whatever the main course salad is called) and Ooey Gooey toffee cake for dessert.

Love the Plaza for TS.

Toss up between Columbia Harbor and Casey's for CS.

ETA: Forgot to include why. Plaza is awesome to just recharge. No characters, no crazy loud chaotic dining room. It's "comfortable," like the big salads and like the fresh hot sandwiches.

CCH we like because of the tuna sammies and Casey's for nostalgia (eating a hot dog outside while people/castle watching).
