We have eaten at LTT, but never for lunch! And being close to lunch yesterday, and we were standing right outside the door, it was the perfect opportunity! :goodvibes

We walked in around 11:00 a.m. They did not officially open until 11:30. But a CM was accepting ADRs. (Even for dinner. Although what was remaining appeared to be very limited.)
I made an ADR for two adults at 11:40.
We got a FP for Splash and wandered a bit. Then returned for lunch.

Guests order off a menu. Since we never have eaten lunch there, we decided to splurge and share a dessert afterwards.

DH ordered New England Clam Chowder, and a Declaration salad - field greens and market vegetables tossed with strawberry vinaigrette dressing.

I ordered Roast beef and swiss cheese with liberty slaw, horseradish cream sauce, and arugula served on herbed focaccia with tavern fries.
The fries I can do without and I only ate a few. They were just typical steak fries anyway.
My sandwich was pretty good. I rather have slaw on the side that smeared on my sandwich. But it was fine. The bread, beef and cheese was good, as was the horseradish sauce. :) It was more than I needed, knowing I was going to share a desser, and I did not finish the bread.
The sandwich was served cold.

DH said his clam chowder tasted like it was from a can. He compared it to eating a bowl of Campbell's soup. And the salad sounded better on the menu than it looked or tasted. He said it was "okay".

Now the highlight -- the dessert. I think I found a new favorite WDW dessert. :rotfl2: Chocolate Liberation Cake -- warm chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce and cherry Chambord ice cream.
The ice cream was good, but nothing to rave about. The lava cake. :cloud9: Oh man......
It was also served with a big strawberry on the side.
Oh that cake......   Sweet. But not horrible sickening sweet. Just VERY good!! We both loved it.

Next time we should just guzzle ice teas, order an appetizer and each have our own dessert. :rotfl2:

LTT was not full at all. They were constantly seating guests while we were there. But the place was not even 1/3 full.

So LTT was a good place to eat to cool off and eat eomething besides counter food. Although DH said the clam chowder and salad are better at CHH just a few steps away!
