Ok, this has probably been asked a thousand times, but . . . Two of us on the dining plan in the same room. One of us wants to have a counter service lunch in one location (at hotel followed by a nap) The other wants to go to the park (with an annual pass) and have lunch in the park. Can we do this and have lunch at different places? Or cause we are in the same room we have to eat at same place?

If you are in the same room, ALL of your credits are pooled. They are not assigned per person. Anyone registered in the room can use any of those credits anywhere, at any time.

You can split up; it's one of the perks of the plan when traveling with teenagers--they can go off on their own and still eat.

The credits are pooled to the room and not to the individuals in the room so you and the other person in the room could definitely eat in 2 different places.

Since the credits are pooled you will need to keep track of how many credits each person is entitled to or uses if it is important to keep the totals separate. There was a post sometime ago where a group of adults shared a room and one person in the group used up most of the snack credits.

PF I remember that thread...the poster wanted DISNEY to reimburse them for the snack credits their group member used.
