Lunch at CRT

I know this has been posted somewhere, but I tried searching and couldn't come up with anything. Tell me about lunch at CRT. Characters? Are the meals good? Worth 2 TS?

We were there in Dec. and LOVED it. Food was good, service was GREAT! We chose not to use our TS credits on it though and paid out of pocket instead. If you add up the 'value' of the TS vs. the cost, it is a better deal to pay outright, at least it was for us.

Princesses spent a lot of time with DD--Belle even helped her take a picture of the two of them together. The characters are subject to change, but we had Belle (blue dress), Jasmine, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Cinderella is downstairs for pictures when you arrive but does not circulate during the meal. DD was not yet three when we dined, but our waiter took EXCELLENT care of her anyway, even bringing her her own dessert! (Thanks Jay! )

Thanks for the info! I had heard some not-so-great things about eating at the castle, but that sounds great!

We have adr in a few weeks too! Can't wait.....a little concerned abouth the food but this will be a first for us.

We had lunch at CRT in April 07 and liked the food, even the kids enjoyed theirs but of course main reason to go was to take DD5 to see Cinderella and she just loved it, just being inside the castle for her was wonderful. We don't do the DDP but if we did paying OOP would be our choice.

awhile since the menu has changed so I have tasted three of the lunch entrees; the pork tenderloin, salmon and Major Domo's Favorite Pie. All were good with the Major Domo being my favorite.

The character we saw last time at the meal were Belle, Snow White, Alice and Mary Poppins. The time before we had Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and the Fairy Godmother.

We're doing lunch in Dec at CRT and are paying for it OOP too. Like the other poster stated, it doesn't make sense to me for the $'s involved to use 2 TS credits. I also chose lunch because it seemed a better idea to use the lunch time hours when it is more crowded for an event like this rather than using the morning hours when you can get more accomplished with rides.
