Lunch at CRT Without PS

What do you think my chances are of being able to have lunch at CRT without PS. We are going in mid-June and don't plan our trips out that much. We always decide last minute as to what park we are doing that day, etc. We go almost every year and that is the way that works best for us. Anyway, my son wants to eat lunch a CRT. Would we have any luck trying to get seated the day we were there? Do you think there is any chance I would be able to make a PS at this point or is it too late? Any help would be appreciated!

I would try and call now. From what I've heard this is a very popular place to eat. I called and got my PS for the breakfast at 90 days prior. I got a time and then something had to be cancelled out and when the CM went in again to get that time, it was gone. That fast. Luckily there was another good time available for the same day. I got lucky.

I guess you could just show up or call that morning if they don't have anymore PS available when you call now. You never know, someone might have cancelled.

CRT lunch is now a character meal with Cinderella so I doubt you will have luck just walking up. You should try calling and getting a cancellation.

We made PSs a while ago so we could get in before they change over to characters on June 10, and had a hard time of it. You *might* be able to get in if you show up 15-30 minutes before the first lunch seating, but I wouldn't count on it.

First of all, welcome to the DIS Boards!

I wouldn't count on walking up for any meal at CRT in mid-June. It will probably even be difficult to get a PS at this time, but you may be able to if you're flexible with your times.

If your DS doesn't want to have lunch with the princesses, the CRT dinner is still a princess-free zone. :)

Kaycee - thanks for the welcome. I've been "lurking" (I hate that word!!) for a little while and finally decided to join in since I have been to Disney so many times that it's hard to keep quiet!!! My son is 22 and when I heard that lunch was going character, I wasn't really sure we would want that, even though my 12 year old DD will be with us, along with my son's girlfriend, who has never been to Disney World. I have been thinking about trying to get PS for dinner, even though we usually have lunch at the more expensive restaurants. They all really want to eat in the castle, so I think I will try tomorrow to make dinner PS. I'm not going to get my hopes up though, and it really doesn't matter because we like so many other places to eat.
