Join Ryno and Steve at one of the most famous quick service locations in the Magic Kingdom, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café. Located in Tomorrowland, this eatery has developed a reputation over the years of not being the best. Watch and see if Ryno and Steve thought their food lived up to the reputation or was a little more out of this world, much like the alien entertainment provided by the one and only Sonny Eclipse! Have you been to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe before? What was your experience like?

Awesome job as always, guys! Nice to see they're changed the Bays to make them more customer and family friendly, with all selections at all Bays! I've had the chicken and green beans here and it was yummy, and some run-of-the-mill cheeseburgers, to the best of my recollection. Believe it or not though - I did NOT know about Sonny Eclipse for the LONGEST time - had never seen/heard him, and was always wondering "what the heck are they talking about?" when I saw others mention him. One of those "been to Disney many times, but never seen/done this" things!! :o

We went yesterday afternoon and my wife had a burger, my son had the mac and cheese, and I had the Greek salad with chicken. My wife loves her burgers well done which is what she got, and she thought it was an okay burger. The toppings bar was key to making the overall flavor better. My Greek salad was okay. The greens were fresh and not wilted, but the overall flavor was a bit bland. I don't like my salads drowning in dressing, but the salad didn't have much dressing. The chicken was a bit overcooked, but it had good flavor. I had plenty of feta cheese and olives and the portion was perfectly fine, I left feeling full. My wife tried my sons mac & cheese and she remembered her grandmother taking her to Howard Johnson's. It tasted like the HoJo mac & cheese. I won't say this is bad because it brought back fond memories of her grandmother taking her to HoJo's. The french fries were a hit. My son and wife loved them. She felt they were much better than fries she has had at McDonald's. They were not salty. We didn't mind the food or experience, but our favorite in the MK is Peco Bill's with their toppings bar.

We just booked our Valentine's Day trip and we're lucky enough to score a Cosmic Rays dinner reservation. I hope they still have some of those delicious cookies! Actually I want a shirt made with Ryno and Steve and a Blue snowman cookie. "Valentines Day at Cosmic Rays"

Wait - did I black out or something? Does Cosmic Ray's dinner now require a reservation? Or maybe just for Valentine's Day?

Im sorry I was being silly. I enjoyed the Cosmic Rays review so much I was pretending that it was a coveted dinning reservation.

Aaaah - okay, sorry. Thanx, thought I missed something. Have a magical :wizard: trip!

Cosmic Ray's can best be described as chaotic. That said, we eat there every trip. It used to be because it was one of only a few places that served veggie burgers (which are no longer available anywhere :( ). Still, we went there last trip. There and Pecos Bill's have the best toppings bars. It's worth dealing with the chaos at either of those places just for that reason alone.

I went to Cosmic Ray's last year and found the food to be usual 'theme-park' food however i've not tried Peco's Bills so may give that a go as we always struggle for quick service at MK.
