We plan to preorder tonight.
What's your favorite food at BOG lunch, and why?

Thanks for asking this question! We'll be pre-ordering in a few weeks, so I'll be following this thread as well.

I always get the roast beef which is really good, but my wife and son always get the croque monsieur which is always the winner. It is quite possibly the best grilled cheese sandwich you'll ever have.

My husband like the pork. I thought the cold turkey sandwich was just adequate. Not bad, but not good. The Croque Monsieur that my daughter had was a greasy mess. It came with cold fries. The cupcake was good.

just to give you the heads up when you pre order you also skip the line with the talking armor, is brief but cute and part of the Beast Castle experience, back to the food I loved the prime rib sandwich is big enough to share and we have tried all desserts and my favorite is the chocolate cream puff, kids alway share a Croque Mounsieur and each get a cupcake masters and double chocolate. Have a great trip!!!

Mostly the braised pork and we use this as our big meal of the day.
Have had other things and nothing was bad, but lately we stick with the pork.

The braised pork is definitely the most "consistent" thing we've had there. Everything else has been all over the place.

Is it not hot anymore?

Always get the braised pork.
Kids love the Mickey turkey meatloaf.
French onion soup is so good!

I think the food (not talking about dinner) at the quick service in France is miles better than that at BOG. I think Casey's is better. But - it is worth eating at at least once. I also like getting into the park early with a breakfast reservation. For lunch - I would order a coke and a cupcake. If I liked braised pork, I would order that.

How much food do you get?

We will likely indulge in mid morning snacks, so I ordered a kid meal of carved turkey sandwich, sweet potato wedges, and peach apple sauce, and then and a cupcake.
I ordered DD (7) a kid meal with the pork, and two sides of green beans, and a cupcake.
I was hoping to get an extra side of green beans for the baby, but there was nowhere to order it.
DH ordered the pork meal coq au vin style (adult portion) and a chocolate cream puff.
If it ends up being not enough food, will they let us order more?
I thought the baby could eat one of dd's side of green beans, my peach applesauce, and some of my sandwich.

DW and I like to get the French onion soup. We're vegetarian and typically French onion soup is made with beef broth, so it's nice that BOG's is vegetarian.

Our kids usually got the grilled cheese sandwich, but I notice it now comes with turkey noodle soup instead of tomato. I wonder if we could sub something else for the soup. (Not that they ever ate the tomato soup anyway, but it was nice to imagine that they MIGHT eat it )

I am wondering the same thing. Since it comes with the soup, they only get one side. No one will touch the soup in our family. It will sadly go right into the trash. I was hoping I could switch it for the applesauce. We go in about two weeks and wondering how I go about asking for this switch. Thanks!!!

Onion soup and braised pork. The desserts are not worth it.

My favorites are the carved turkey sandwich and strawberry cream cheese cupcake. I was just there last week and the turkey was still served warm (my husband's roast beef was cold).

The turkey seems hit or miss lately. Some are reporting it served cold, some are reporting warm.

Seems to be pretty much a consensus on the cold roast beef, though.
