Where is the best place to eat lunch after boarding the ship?

both places are great and have pros and cons, the food is the same at both buffet.
Parrot cay, you are seated first, served your drinks, and then you can help yourself from the buffet.
Topsiders, traditional buffet line, with a tray, you get to eat outside if you want to....

Depends what you prefer. Topsiders offers a pretty good selection, but we opt for a sit down in Parrot Cay - my favourite restaurant - which has beautful food, and your first experience of waiter service that day. Nat

At Parrot Cay you get soda for no extra charge. At topsiders' if you want it, you need to go to one of the bars and buy it (someone posted that they sometimes sell cans at the end of the line, but I've never seen it.)

Also, most Topsiders' seating is outside, while Parrot Cay is inside. If it's rainy, chilly, or windy, that can make a difference.

My vote is for Parrot Cay. Softdrinks are free in the restaurant and you do not have to carry a tray around while trying to find a table. We did that a few times for breakfast and it was kind of a pain! However, eating outside does have its merits too!

Besides Parrot Cay and Topsiders/Beach Blanket, there are also Plutos which serves hot dogs, sausages, hambergers, nachos and Pinoccio's Pizza which serves pizza (duh). These are up on Deck 9 near the pools. Also there is Scoops which has fruit, cookies and ice cream.

We usually go to topsiders. May have to give PC a try next cruise.

We like the pizza by the Goofy pool while the kids jump in for a swim. It is the ONLY time on the ship that the pool doesn't seem crowded.

Both times we have cruised Parrot Cay was full so we had to go to Topsiders.
