lunapic help

So, I'm trying to do my on designs and stroller tags. How do I make my backgrounds "see-thru"? Everytime I try make make it transparent...it just clears it out.

I'm using Lunapic (I sometimes use Paint.net) but I like lunapic much better. Do you think photoshop is worth the $$$?

Do you think photoshop is worth the $$$?

I guess it all depends on what you are going to, or want to, do with it. If you just want to play around Photoshop Elements is much cheaper than CS4. If you want to really want to get into photo-editing and graphic design, then you'll probably want CS4.
