Luminous Viewing from Outside EPCOT

We're heading south for a resort-only trip in a couple of weeks. Most of the itinerary is set, though I'm hoping that the Bears throw a wrench in our plans by making it to the Divisional Round. We'll see!

In any event, we'll head over to the Poly one night to watch HEA; there are plenty of strong viewing locations for HEA, so I'm not worried about finding a good one that night. However, we'd like to try watching Luminous from outside EPCOT and I've never tried to watch Illuminations/Harmonious/Luminous from outside that park. We'll be staying at the Beach Club that night, so we'll be choosing our top location from the international gateway area. Can you actually see any of the show from the bridge that connects the Beach Club and the Boardwalk? Alternatively, can the show be seen from the Skyliner station area outside the international gateway turnstiles? Anywhere else that works?

I know it won't be the same as seeing the show inside the park, but the price of the resort-only trip is right!

Yes, if you walk toward the EP IG entrance near or past the Skyliner entrance you can see some of the upper fireworks. I also like to go over to RIV for dinner or just to look around and then get on the Skyliner as soon as the EP fireworks start (as long as the Skyliner is operational!). Try to get on a Skyliner car that does not have any characters on it for a clearer view - it's a fun way to see the fireworks from that vantage point! We usually arrive at the IG area before the show is over so we just hang out there to see the rest of the show.

Edited to add: If you don't mind spending $$ you can also book an EP fireworks cruise that would leave out of the YC boat dock area.

Thanks so much!

We definitely won't be popping for the cruise -- that would seriously rework the budget for this trip.

When you're between the Skyliner exit and the EP IG entrance, can you (1) see the screens at all, and (2) hear the soundtrack?

Super helpful -- thanks!

A follow-up question: can you hear any/some/most/all of the soundtrack from there?
You can hear a little bit but not a lot. And there are sections where you can't see anything because it's happening closer to the water in Epcot. But it's still fun. We usually bring a snack and a drink to the bridge while we watch on our arrival night.
