We left Thursday May 26th on Delta Song at 2:40pm. 1st appletini at 3:20pm. Second about 25 minutes later :drinking1 I also got their yummy song salad with cous cous and grilled chicken. Second cocktail was on song! Yippee To what did I owe that honor? :teeth: DD slept most of the flight. Yeah! DH watched some t.v. and the others, well, who cares about them. J/K
At the end of the flight the pilot let Jeremy, (step nephew in law) and I sit in the **** pit. It was really cool. We got some cool pics with Jeremy wearing the pilot's cap. Went to the ME pickup to the WL and although it went smoothly I think we will stick to FL tours from now on in the interest of time. Unpacked and headed to Epcot which was open until midnight and rode Soarin'. Wow! What an awesome ride. Ate some grub at the Electric Umbrella, salads and such and headed back to the room. Off to bed at about 1am.

Friday May 27th
Quick breakfast at the Roaring fork and off to MGM. Loved the stunt show. DD kept saying "I want to see fire" future arsonist? :rotfl: The people around us were laughing everytime she would say it. Had lunch over by the honey I shrunk the kids playground. Yummy lamb kabob. The lines really weren't too bad for being memorial day weekend. Back to WL at about 3pm for some swimming. Our room had a pool view so we spent some time on the balcony people watching. This is where the lumberjack comes in. Had to have some drinks to cool down :smooth: so I had the yellow one. It was called the lumberjack and besides having tequila in it, I'm not sure what else it contained, but even though it was yummy I had to have the ponderosa pine next. So DH and DD went up to nap and I baked some more and drank some more. Back up to the room, showered and headed out to the MK at about 7:30pm. No lines! It was great. Walked on each and every ride. Dinner at Columbia Harbor house, another salad. Got to the Barnstormer at 10:30pm and as soon as we got on it the rain came down in buckets. Cold, hard rain and we were in shorts and tank tops. Ran off the ride to the toontown farmers market where we staged our attack plan. It didn't appear the rain was going to let up so we bought ponchos and off to tomorrowland we went :umbrella: The rain turned into a drizzle and we were off to WL around 12am.

Saturday May 28th
Breakfast at Whispering Canyon. DD spilled her entire cup of prune juice on her brand new outfit (tummy trouble) so off to the room DH and she went to put on yet another brand new outfit. This one wouldn't last long either
Off to AK. DD was tall enough to ride KRR and she loved it! She kept saying "again, again" but we weren't trying to stand in another 30 minute line with a very active 2yr old. :faint:. We went over to Dinoland to see Lucky. We loved him. What a cool dino. We rode Dinosaur while DH watched DD and when we got off the ride I noticed her beautiful new jumper was now a strange shade of orange. Apparantly DH got her an ice pop and she really enjoyed it. :earseek: and off to get a turkey leg. Finished up some other attractions and back to WL for another swim. Around 4pm I ran down to do laundry and Jeff put DD down for a snooze. Tonight we ordered room service and what a meal we had. It was the first meal in a long time that we didn't have to shovel down our throats. DD napped while we sat on our balcony and enjoyed salads, soups, pork chops, steak and of course hot apple pie. Oh yea, and some beer. :drinking1
We met at the dock for our wishes cruise that almost turned to disaster as DD ran up the dock and almost into the water and as Jeremy and I charged up after her, Jeremy pushed me over and I just caught DD as she was inches from the side of the dock. DD and I were lying on the ground in our nice clothes clutched to one another. Talk about racing hearts. I didn't know who was more scared me or her. Just goes to show how quick 2yr olds are. :earseek: After the close call we all got on the boat and off we went. What a beautiful show but I do like the illuminations cruise better. Back to the hotel for a quick dip and off to bed we went.

Sunday May 30th
Breakfast at Roaring Fork, MK lines not too bad. Epcot where we let DD run around in the water that shoots out of the ground. She had a ball. We didn't have a change of clothes but after she was done we rung out her jumper and it was dry in 15 minutes. It was hot. She fell asleep and it was off to Restaurant Marrakesh (sp?) for another yummy lunch. I had the lamb cous cous again and DH had the chicken. A margarita in Mexico and back to the hotel for another swim. Back to MK finished Adventure land and realized that spiders LOVE the jungle cruise. They were hanging from webs in the boat and I watched them dangle on two seperate occasions right next to peoples faces up at the front of the boat and they didn't even notice. :scared1: I couldn't wait to get off the boat as I could only imagine what was chillin near me!! Dinner at Cosmic Rays, I had a turkey wrap and dh had chicken soup and a grilled chicken ceasar salad. Back to WL around 12am.

Monday May 30th
FL tours back to the airport for our 8:20am flight :guilty: I hate leaving
"the world"

Hope you enjoyed the report. See ya real soon. ::MickeyMo

Wow, you packed a lot into a quick trip! Sounds like your DD is a trooper & can hang in there with you guys!

I am super curious as to how Jeremy and you got to go up front with the pilot on Song? I thought since 9/11 that invitation was no longer an option. you must have some major connections with Delta!

Glad you had fun. Sounds like your DH is a great help with your DD. :)

After the flight was over we had to wait until DFIL got a wheelchair so while we were waiting the pilot asked if we wanted to go in the **** pit (I love it how the mods bleep out the word :teeth: ) Anyway, I'd post a pic of us sitting in the pilot and co-pilot chairs if I could figure out how to post a decent sized pic. I was shocked too but I guess since we already landed they didn't feel we could do any damage.
