Now that I have a CD burner, I'm planning on buying some blank CDs and burning a lullaby album for myself and my sister, who's also expecting.
I want the CD to have 12 tracks and I've got 8 already.

(in no particular order)
1:La La Lu---Lady and the Tramp
2:Candle in the Water--Pete's Dragon
3:Flying Dreams--The Secret of Nimh
4:Dreams to Dream--An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
5:House At Pooh Corner--Kenny Loggins
6:Bella Notte--Lady and the Tramp
7:Baby Mine--Dumbo
8:The Rainbow Connection--Kermit the Frog and the Muppets

I just can't figure out what the other 4 should be!:)

My DD has a Disney lullaby CD, and my favorite on it is Stay Awake from Mary Poppins... Feed the Birds is another great one - very soothing.

How come I didn't think of "Feed the Birds"?!?!?:)

I (and DS) always love Tu Ra Lu Ra Lu Ra (not sure I spelled that right) but....The Irish Lullaby. It's a great soothing song.

Good luck with the CD....sounds like a great idea.:D

There is a lullaby that we saw in an episode of Bear in the Big Blue House - the character Shadow sings a song that is a favorite of mine... I have no idea what it is called though! Any help on a title??? Maybe "Rockaby My Baby"? That is one of the songs that still stops our younger DD in her tracks and she listens and sways to it...

This is not Disney, But this is a FANTASTIC lullabye collection...

A Childs Gift of Lullabyes
and the other CD's by the same artist.... I also have the Rock-a-bye Collection Volume1

These are by 'Someday Baby'

It also says www.lullabyes.com on the CD label

These are just AWESOME....
I still sing... I L.O.V.E. Y.O.U. you're all of my dreams come true... to my DS!!!!!

Oh I know that song! It's on my Kenny Loggins CD "Return to Pooh Corner". I LOVE THAT SONG!

2 of my favorites are from Kenny Loggin's Return to Pooh Corner.

Return to Pooh's Corner

St. Jude's Comet

I love this whole cd, but those 2 stand out. St. Jude's comet meant a lot when I was having a hard time getting my son to sleep. Spoke volumes!!!

SOme of the ones I used to sing to my DS's are:

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes
I Don't want to Live on the Moon (Sesame Street)
