Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader meet and greet?

My DDS6 is a huge Star Wars fan. Do they ever do meet & greets in MGM besides the star wars weekends? Or are they only in the parades this time of year? Thanks!

The only time I've seen these characters are during Star Wars weekends in late May and June. We went to one two years ago and loved it. If your child is that big a Star Wars fan (like we are), you may want to consider this.

Every once in a while you will see CHEWIE doing pictures.

We say Darth Vader in front of the Star Wars ride in MGM once. It was early in the day. Ask a CM to call the "chip" line to find out where he will be for the day if anywhere at all.

Since these aren't Disney Characters, usually they don't make appearences except during Star Wars weekends, however, you can always check with Guest Relations on your way into the park and ask them if either of these characters will be in the park that day. If they are they will tell you where they are scheduled to be, and when.

My ds has been a huge Star Wars fan for a few years. He was six this past May when he went to Star Wars Weekend for the first time. He loved it more then I could have even imagined. If your son is really a big fan, try to make it to one of the weekends. My son had a lightsaber fight with Darth Vader and Darth Maul and still talks about it. It was the highlight of his life, according to him. He was so thrilled today that it is "finally 2005." Why? Because it puts him closer to May 2005 when the new Star Wars movie is released and he will be going back for the Star Wars Weekend! He is counting down the days. I think he needs counseling! lol

Thank you for all the info! We can't go to Star Wars Weekends this year, but it is high on our list for next year! We will definitely ask a CM on the way into MGM to see if any characters will be out. It never hurts to ask ~ and we could be pleasantly surprised!!!
