Luggage

I have seen on the news and read here that there are varying luggage problems. We do not have huge suitcases and are not planning on buying any. Because we fly with Virgin they allow 2 cases each passenger weighing up to 23kg each. I am surprised other airlines do not follow suit. On the outbound journey we will probably take one case each, with others packed inside, and then buy loads and come back with two cases each. Anyone else do this?

Most scheduled airlines allow 2 x 23kg for economy passengers it is mainly the charters that have the 1 x 20kg or even 1 x 15kg

Agreed, BA is the same. I believe that BMI, AA, UA, CO and most of the other scheduled airlines also allow 2 x 23kg per person in economy.
