luggage ?

I am just curious as to how much you all usually end up with for luggage when you go to dis for a week. Do you usually have 1 suitcase per person or are you able to get the kids stuff into just one suitcase and yours into 1 or 2? I am trying so so hard to pack light, but I have such a terrible habit and tend to want to bring a lot of clothing. Would love any tips too on packing.

One checked bag per person. I do put some of our clothes in each suitcase though in case one gets lost then a few of each of our clothes are missing, not just all the clothes for one person.

nice idea, i am going to do that as well. I felt like 1 bag for each was to much but now i am thinking it will be best especially when we return with more than we went there with. thanks!

That's true. My suitcases aren't completely full and that allows for extras. Also, I fold up one beach bag and put it in the outside zipper pocket of one of the suitcases. I fill that with souvenirs and carry it on the plane on the way home.
