I'm sure I know the answer but I figure I would ask...

Want to go to French Quarter to get some beignets for breakfast before going to Typhoon Lagoon (free water park day).
Staying at Pop.
Would I be able to leave our luggage at French Quarter since Typhoon Lagoon is close by and avoid zig zaging around.

What is your transportation? You would need to go back to FQ to collect the luggage and take it to POP yourself. I don't believe WDW would transfer it for you.

I'm not sure they would store it for you there without a reservation at the resort. You would also have to take an Uber or Minnie Van to transfer back to Pop at the end of the day. You can't take luggage on the Disney buses.

They might transfer it, actually. Maybe don't say anything about whether you stayed the night before, just say transferring to Pop

If they do transfer it for you, know it happens between 1& 5 pm. If you get a room ready text early & decide to head to your room for a nap, plan on not having your luggage available until at least 5. It might be there earlier, but better to plan for the worst.

Can not say if they do now but in the past we have never been asked where we were staying just where the luggage was going when we transferred bags.

Last year we had a dinner reservation at Chef Mickeys on the night my son was arriving. His flight got super delayed and it just so happened his bus was stopping at CR before coming back to POFQ. When I found that out I told him just to get off at CR and we'd fogure something out. Bell Services at CR had no problem storing his luggage for a few hrs., so I would guess it'd be fine.

It’ll probably be up to the discretion of the people working that day. How are you getting into the hotel? If you’re driving they could potentially deny entry because you aren’t staying there and without a reservation could be turned away, this goes for Ubers too. It’s not near a park so might be a little more lax than the other resorts but could happen
