Luggage under beds

I'm trying to find what dimensions of luggage will fit under the beds. Also how many bags can we bring I found what will fit through security, will a large Vera carry all bag fit? I don't really want to have to rearrange everything once we get there...we are headed to the parks first, so we are pretty jam packed with things for both...

I don't know the actual dimensions, but you can fit anything short of a steamer trunk under there. A full size suitcase would be no problem. We fit four people's luggage plus a full dive bag. I thing we nested our carry ons inside of our big bags though.

Great question! I've been wondering the same... we are only going on a 4 night cruise but will be in Florida for over a week before the cruise - which means a lot more luggage for the four of us! I"ve been worried about it fitting in the room (this is our first cruise so I have no idea what to expect in regards to amount of room/space).

On the Fantasy, we fit 2 suitcases under the bed (in queen configuration) and would have had room for at least 2 more. Those cases are 28" x 20" x 10.25" and wheeled them lengthwise one from each side of the bed. We used them like drawers to store dirty clothes and one time use items. Plenty of room to spare.

There is lots of room under the bed and you can fit almost any size suitcase under there.

We even fit four large cases under the bed on the Magic with medium ones inside and carryon bags in those when we did the 15-night PC repo. We were in LA for a week before the cruise so three weeks of clothes took up a lot of room. On the classics you just lift up the bed frame to slide them under. It is easier on the new ships with even more room. :) You can take how ever many bags that you want to manage. You have to carry whatever you don't check at the curb until the rooms are available at 1:30. There is no other storage on the ship, so you will have to keep it all in your room.

I think the beds on the older ships are closer to the ground, and my only experience has been on the Magic. We found that our large hard-sided spinner suitcases wouldn't fit when closed because they were too deep, but they fit OK if we unzipped them and stored them opened up. We could then fit smaller bags inside of them. As already mentioned, I think, we did have to lift up the mattress and couldn't slide the bags under the bed. We had plenty of storage space in the smallest 11b interior category and also in a larger, 7a verandah cabin (just 2 people in each room, but we had a lot of luggage).

I was on the Wonder last month and my suitcase would not fit under the bed. I was surprised. It wasn't a big deal because I was in the cabin alone. However, if I had someone with me, it might have been a bit of a problem.

They will fit under the beds on both the Magic and Wonder. You just have to lift the bed frame to get it to clear the frame to get it under the bed. We got both our huge Delsey hardsided suitcases under there with room to spare.

It's soooo much trouble ;) ;) ;) to lift the bed to slide luggage under. Hoping new beds are part of the dry dock planned for the Magic. Much prefer the Dream and Fantasy under bed clearance.

I saw a video that measured the clearance and it was 13 inches and there was actually a few more inches once you cleared the sideboard of the bed. We were able to put all of our luggage & our stroller under the bed.

I just measured my hard-sided suitcase that didn't fit under the bed on Magic last month, and it's 12", so the clearance on my bed was less than that. It almost fit, so I'd guess the actual clearance was 11 - 11.5", but the frame wouldn't completely go back down to the ground with the suitcase under the bed, so we unzipped the suitcase and opened it up so it would fit.

I assumed there had to be a way to get it under the bed, but since I had room in the cabin, I didn't bother finding a way.
