Luggage Transfer - Value to Moderate??

I called yesterday to make a payment and spoke to a CM about this....she told me that your luggage can not be transferred from a Value to a Moderate - is this true?

If so, how does one get luggage from ASMo to POR? I heard from someone on here that luggage is not allowed on the Disney buses.....

I'm so confused......

There is another post a few pages in that says that you can transfer from any Disney resort to another. Call the evening before and first thing in the morning to confirm. Expect your luggage to arrive late in the afternoon so pack everything you might need that day in a light bag to take with you. Luggage is not allowed on the buses.

We will be transferring from Pop to CSR in April. Our TA checked on this for me and was told YES our luggage would be transferred for us. As PP said, it may not arrive until later in the day but all you have to do is tell the front desk at check in that you will be checking out an transferring the next morning.
Another option( I think this is what we are going to do) is to take a cab. This way you can transfer yourself and your luggage at the same time!

The CM was misinformed. They'll transfer luggage from any Disney resort to any other Disney resort.

When I switch resorts, I usually take a cab and bring the luggage over myself first thing in the morning. That way I can get checked in, get my luggage stored with Bell Services, and know that it's all taken care of before I set out for a theme park.

It is very easy to get a cab, you can actually call from the phone in your room you will be connected to Mears. Or you can just go down to the luggage claim service and they will call a cab for you. The cost depends on which resort you will be in and where you are going. Generally the cost is about $12-$15.
Any time I've switched resorts, I just let Disney do it, I call Bell services, they come to your room you let them know that you are just going to another resort, they tag your luggage and give you a reciept. Then I just go onto the park I was planning on going to that day. Later in the day I go to my new resort, check in and arrange to have my luggage taken to my room.
Its easy and I have never had a problem.

I've never had to wait more than 2-3 minutes for a cab. It's usually around $15 dollars.

The CM I spoke with had me convinced that they will NOT transfer it. But I'm glad I have you guys, that way I stay informed, the correct way!!
