Luggage transfer question

We are switching resorts mid vacation, and we were wondering if the resorts offer luggage transfer? We would rather not deal with moving our luggage especially since we will not have a car and using Disney Transportation.

If they do offer luggage transfer, how do we set it up? Do we tell them when we are checking in, or when we are checking out?

Appreciate the help! Only 8 days away from our two week vacation away.

Just call the Bell Desk when you are checking out and tell them where you are moving to. They will give to a receipt for your luggage and/or groceries and transfer everything to your new resort around 3:00 PM.

During a recent stay in March we had a split stay between OKW and SSR.
The night before the transfer I called bell services, they told me to call in the morning when we were ready.
When we called at 9 am we were given a choice to "go now" via golf cart; that was a sight....4 people....8 pieces of luggage on a golf cart!!
They also gave us a choice to leave the luggage in the room and they would transfer it when they had staff available.
We arrived at OKW checked in the luggage with bell services and we were then on our way to a great day in the park.

In September we transferred from AKV to SSR and called bell services who sent someone to the room about 15 minutes later. They gave us the claim checks and we were off for a day at the parks. When we got to SSR later we checked in and were transported to our room by bell services when we picked up the luggage. Then the day we left we called and they came and got the luggage and stored it until we were ready to get the ME bus to the airport. Great service all around.
