My sister is staying at Fort Wilderness from Sept. 21 - Sept. 29. They will be arriving late on the 20th and are going to do a room only reservation for that night. How long will it take Disney to move her luggage from POP to FW? We are doing MNSSHP party on the 21st and have dinner at Liberty Tree at 4:20. This should be the easiest way for her to go.

Thanks for any input!

A few years back we started out at the ASMo and decided to transfer to the CR. It took a long time for them to transfer our luggage to other resort. On a more recent trip we decided to add a day to our stay and our room was already taken so we had to move rooms. I remember that being an all day ordeal as well.

I would say anything she would absolutely need for a specific time to take with her just incase!

Good luck!

They will not be able to guarantee your luggage transfer by a certain time of day. Remember --- Not only will she be wanting the luggage to be transferred, but she'll also be needing her FW accomodations to be ready.

She should pack a small duffel or backpack with whatever she will need for the day. If she doesn't want to carry it around with her, there are lockers at every park.

She could consider checking in at FW first thing on the 21st. In that case, she will get a phone number that she can call later on in the day to see if her accomodations are ready.
