Does the Disney resorts still have the service for luggage drop off at your hotel for your return flight?

Unfortunately no. You now must take your luggage to the Magical Express. The driver will place your luggage under the bus. When you arrive at the airport, you must now check your luggage.

If you check out of your resort and have a later flight, Bell Services at resort, will hold your luggage. Be sure to allow time to pick up your luggage before Magical Express pick up time.

We don’t use the Magical Express because we rent a car. We always brought the luggege to a drop off where employees from the airport checked you in and the luggage was sent to the airport.

That is very doubtful. I've heard that the company that provided the service went under. Even if they hadn't, ME is ending there is no reason for Disney to pay for the service.
Bags is still in business. Disney painted over the RAC signs in the resort. Disney dropped the service $$$. I'd pay for the service. If there was substantial guest interest in a guest paid version of RAC hotels like Swan and Dolphin would have added the service years ago.

That isn't necessarily true. Many WDW guests have chosen to stay at WDW resorts rather than at other locations like S & D due to the convenience of ME and the bag services. That's something that stopped me from staying offsite multiple times, and I've read other posters saying the same, as well. People who stay at S & D don't value the transfer & bag service benefits enough to stay at a Disney resort instead. So S & D guests aren't a very good metric of whether there would be demand for the paid service at Disney resorts. I'd certainly pay for bag service, and am sure many deluxe resort guests in particular, who are already shelling out $600 - $1,000 per night, would also pay for bag service. RAC was always busy at the resorts we stayed at, so it was definitely something that people valued.
