Luggage Tags

I was reading through my "Pre-Arrival Guide" and it says that luggage tags and a "Documentation Packet" that includes our "Guest Travel Booklet" will come in the mail. Does anyone know about when, roughly, these are sent out?

Approximately 30-45 days ahead of your cruise. We got ours at 45 days. If you used a TA, it's possible that the booklet will go to them first.

Your cruise documents will show up, have faith. Enjoy them when they come. If you are nervous that DCL "forgot" you, just give them a call. Seems like they wait to long to send them...I wish they went out at the PIF date.

But...it's nothing to worry about. If you didn't get your cruise docs for whatever reason, you can of course still show up at the port. They have luggage tags and all the paperwork there. Your cruise docs are nice, but not required to cruise. Like the airlines, there are no longer physical tickets to board the ship, just your picture ID and passport/birth certificate.

Looks like lots on the 10/23 cruise....................maybe i need to book a cabin for that one too!!! LOL

Did you use a TA? Sometimes the documents go to the TA first.

I did! I figured it would take a bit more time but my TA is close by and it wouldn't take long by mail! Was just hoping to receive it by this past Friday. I guess it's ok since I've still managed to keep the trip a secret from my DD!
